Dr. Joscelyne M. Evans serves as Development Director at MDC, where she is responsible for cultivating, expanding, and deepening relationships with individuals and institutions that invest in MDC’s mission, programs, and operations. She has dedicated her career to advancing equity, opportunity, and economic mobility in higher education and the American South through strategic philanthropic and institutional partnerships.

Prior to joining MDC, Dr. Evans proudly served her alma mater, North Carolina A&T State University, where she led high-performing fundraising teams and architected transformational partnerships through relationship-focused philanthropic strategies.

A thought leader in advancement, Dr. Evans has presented at national conferences on corporate strategy and has worked across all phases of philanthropy. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Leadership from North Carolina A&T State University and remains deeply committed to using philanthropy, partnership, and leadership to expand access, strengthen institutions, and create pathways for others to thrive.
