Olivia Brooks

Olivia Brooks is a communications professional and storyteller who currently serves as Special Assistant & Board Liaison at MDC.

Originally from Greenville, South Carolina, Olivia attended North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Mass Communications, summa cum laude. During her time at North Carolina A&T, she served as a radio host and social media manager for WNAA 90.1 The Voice and contributed to the North Carolina A&T Register, gaining experience in broadcasting, journalism, multimedia storytelling, and digital media.

Olivia has experience across journalism, communications, marketing, and social media. Her work has included content creation, campaign development, public relations, podcast production, social media management, videography, and event marketing.

Passionate about storytelling, Olivia enjoys using her voice and creativity to bring attention to individuals, organizations, and initiatives making a meaningful impact in their communities.
