MDC Strengthens Commitment to Equity with Four New Team Members
We are thrilled to announce the addition of four exceptional individuals to our team, each bringing a wealth of experience and passion to further our mission.
Everett Campbell – Program Administrator
Everett is a Program Administrator for MDC’s Rural Prosperity and Investment team, joining the team in October 2023. With a passion for contributing to progressive social action related to racial and gender equity and enhancing community membership, they provide internal and external support through program organization, evaluation, and relation assistance.
Everett was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, and moved around the country every three years of their life until landing in Jacksonville, a small military town in Eastern NC. Everett then received their Social Work degree from the University of Nevada, Reno where they began their involvement in policy work for rural Nevadan communities, as well as community outreach and organizing related to housing reform and addiction recovery resources. Before MDC, Everett worked as a volunteer coordinator for a nonprofit located in a Lake Tahoe State Park and with a women’s and families shelter located in Sparks, NV.
Lori Kramer – Human Resources Manager
Lori joined MDC in 2023 as our Human Resources Manager, responsible for all the functional areas of Human Resources including recruiting, benefits, onboarding, legal compliance, employee relations and compensation. Lori is a growth-focused Human Resources leader with over 20 years of experience in a variety of industries.

RMI focuses specifically on promoting racial equity in organizational strategies, policies, and practices as a complement to the work of others who focus on racial equity at the individual and interpersonal levels. Kamilah and RMI joined MDC in 2023.
Kamilah has been a trainer and facilitator with RMI since 2016 and served as the core program evaluator and researcher. She received a BA in Psychology and African American Studies from Georgia State University.
